Natural regularity
The qualities of the universe governing the behaviors of matter and energy, typically seen as natural forces, constants, and laws.

The essential qualities by which the universe is recognized.

Necessary design
Object or event for which the only causal explanation is design. Reliable knowledge of the causal history or the presence of a "paramount of design" can secure this conclusion.

Nomic discontinuity
Effects that do not follow from the normal operations of natural law which can serve as an indicator of design.

Non-telic explanation
An accounting of events that has necessary and strict recourse to natural regularity. (ant. telic)
