Marcus Ross

Marcus Ross received a B.S. in Earth Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998, M.S. in Paleontology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 2002, and Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Rhode Island. He is currently assistant professor of biology at Liberty University, where he has taught on the history of life and elements of earth science.

His current research is focused on tracking the diversity, biostratigraphy, and extinction of mosasaurs, an extinct group of marine reptiles whose remains are found in Late Cretaceous deposits around the world.
