"Approach" and "Instructor" columns
I think the "approach" "instructor" columns are undesirable, considering how much they crowd the other fields. We can list the instructor name and any necessary information under a new column called "Description." Anyone object to me eliminating those columns? --Joseph "Joey" C. Campana 13:51, 6 September 2006 (CDT)
- It does look better without them. It's becoming very impressive, btw! --Arctura 09:14, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
100+
I think once we get to 100, we should change our approach to this page. 100+ entries will be almost too much for the average internet surfer to take in. Beyond 100 universities, this list should only add university classes that are rated in "top lists" or have some kind of important bearing on the intelligent design community/paradigm/debate.

As we get confirmation of these claims we will move it into the page area. Confirmation can come from a hyperlink or personal knowledge of factuality.

Iowa State entry
According to this article it seems there are actually two courses being taught, the honors seminar by Ingebritsen (called "God and Science") which has been taught by since 2000, and a new (anti) one as of this spring, called "The Nature of Science: Why the overwhelming consensus of science is that intelligent design is not good science" by three other professors.
Cornell entry
Hello SierraEcho! Maybe we should somehow specify what "with IDEA" means. Is MacNeill a member of IDEA? I drafted a change on the page based on what I know of the situation, please revise if it can be more accurately represented. Thanks for the addition! -- JosephCCampana 14:25, 6 May 2006 (CDT)
- Joe, from my talks with the president of Cornell IDEA it seems they are not only contributing to the discussion but also setting up the class website, and collecting pro-ID articles, books and other reading material for the optional and required reading lists. --SierraEcho 15:30, 2 June 2006 (CDT)
- SierraEcho, thanks for the info. The article I added confirms what you have stated here, thank you for the clarification. :) -- JosephCCampana 17:24, 2 June 2006 (CDT)
Page Structure
Looking back on my submissions this afternoon it seems I've made it a great deal messier. Should I take out all the extra information on the courses, aside from who's teaching them? It seems it would be nice to have that somewhere-- so you could differentiate the courses on ID as religion from ID as science-- but it seems to be cluttering things up a bit now. Any ideas on how to make things look nicer? And along the same lines do we want to split up the list in any way (pro vs. anti, or scince vs. philosophy/religion/communication)? I've assumed you want the anti and the "ID is religion pretending to be science" on your list as well as the good ones, but do you? Please someone shout at me if I'm doing things wrong --Rilla 19:35, 13 May 2006 (CDT)
- Sorry for the delay in the response. Let me tweak it a bit and see what I can do to make it clearer. -- JosephCCampana 18:40, 14 May 2006 (CDT)
- Rilla, this is great work you have done here! Thank you for your contributions! Yes, we want to list all courses, whether ID or not.
- I reworked the page into a table. That should take care of some of the messiness for now. I don't think we need to arrange the entries in any particular way yet. Eventually we can figure something out if that becomes desirable. -- JosephCCampana 20:01, 14 May 2006 (CDT)
- Thank you! This looks so much better! --Rilla 10:50, 15 May 2006 (CDT)
- You are welcome. :) It takes some getting use to, but once one sees how the wiki code can arrange data, it can do some pretty good content presentation. Keep up the good work Rilla! -- JosephCCampana 10:57, 15 May 2006 (CDT)
- Thank you! This looks so much better! --Rilla 10:50, 15 May 2006 (CDT)
Lehigh University
Are we sure that Behe is teaching intelligent design there? Because I've heard conflicting reports on that (i.e, that he wasn't allowed to teach). --Rilla 05:55, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
- Hard to say for sure. Look here. That was an assumption on my part; it would seem hard for him to teach a class without students asking about ID. I just emailed him and hope to hear back soon. -- JosephCCampana 07:50, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
- Michael Behe said he is no longer teaching a class in which ID is dealt with, but that he had in the past. I'll note that on the page. -- JosephCCampana 12:52, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
Current classes?
Rilla or Joe, are all these classes currently in session? Or does the list include any class that has been done.--SierraEcho 12:14, 27 June 2006 (CDT)
- It's a mix, good clarifier, I'll post it. -- JosephCCampana 12:55, 27 June 2006 (CDT)
